Channel just became Exabeam’s highest-volume sales route. That is the H1 print. Not a market-share claim. Not audited ARR. A vendor-stated channel-first bet against platform mega-suites.
On September 24, 2026, Channel Dive reported Exabeam’s announcement: channel partners now account for more sales than any other route to market. In the first half of 2026, the channel organization grew its new-logo pipeline 138% more than expected. New product bookings in existing customer accounts were 125% over target. Those are company metrics against internal targets; share % and ARR: Undisclosed.
APEX as the operating system. Exabeam launched the APEX Partner Program in July 2025 — about seven months after hiring Craig Patterson as global channel chief, Channel Dive notes. Patterson’s charter: integrate Exabeam’s channel with LogRhythm (acquired 2024). Private-equity sponsor Thoma Bravo had set KPIs for channel partners to grow pipeline and convert deals at a higher rate, Patterson told Channel Dive. Last week he was appointed SVP of global channels and marketing. The Business Wire primary on the July 22, 2025 launch framed APEX around competency-based tiering (not pure volume ladders) and said a Voice of Partner survey in Q1 2025 shaped the program, with phased rollout toward full availability expected January 1, 2026.
Enablement spend and Sherpa. Senior Director of Partner Programs Alison Haynes told Channel Dive the company funded more than 90 partner-led marketing campaigns since launching its market-development-funds program at the start of the year. Sherpa AI expanded from a virtual channel account manager into deal registration, training, certifications, pre-sales enablement, and RFP assist — partners can self-serve transactional work and pull a human CAM when they need a touch point. Haynes’ market call: Exabeam’s biggest opportunity is securing agentic AI, and CAMs should enable partners on that technical and enterprise motion.
Secondary discrepancy. Channel Insider’s Sep 23 write-up of the same H1 print also cites the 138% / 125% figures and “highest-volume sales source,” but separately notes pipeline targets were exceeded in three of four global regions. Channel Dive’s primary language emphasizes partners as the top sales route and quotes Patterson on conversion-rate lift. Channel Dive anchors the headline; regional breadth is vendor-stated, and the secondary’s “three of four” matters when boards ask how global the beat really was.
POV. Independent SIEM / behavior-intel vendors do not win wallet share by matching platform suite price lists. They win by making the channel the primary GTM muscle — MDF, competency tiers, AI-assisted enablement, and PE-backed pipeline KPIs. That is a survival strategy, not a press flourish. The underwrite questions are sharper: Are the 138% and 125% durable conversion against real quotas, or target-gaming against soft plans? Is Sherpa an enablement moat that sticks partners to Exabeam’s motion — or a chatbot PR layer around CAM capacity? Does “securing agentic AI” become partner-led pipeline in H2, or a slogan on a Bangkok summit slide? TAM: Undisclosed. Share: Undisclosed. Underwrite the channel print as stated — then ask what closes.
